Our organization was established in 2004 at Chennai with a view to help the poor and the under privileged. our organization was registered under the Indian charitable trust act. Reg No: 234/2006, and new welfare programs were introduced, which was inaugurated by Mr.Siva Sankar., IAS.,
( Secretary to Govt.of Tamilnadu) and. We focus on five major areas they are:
- Livelihood ( Human ) Welfare and Research Programme.
- Health Welfare and Research Programme.
- Education Welfare and Research Programme.
- Environment welfare and Research Programme.
- Agriculture & Animal Husbandry welfare and Research
Programme.
The people we help are those who would normally be given up on, they come from the poorest parts of our cities and have already had to face many struggles in their lives, It’s our goal to help them to fulfill their requirements and improve their status of living and at the same time to gain quality education ,social development, health, Environment and agriculture. From the date of inception of our organization we have served as peoples as possible in areas of education, social development, health, Environment agriculture& Animal Husbandry . We are also being registered under NITI Aayog:
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF THE ORGANISATION:
To promote or uplift the downtrodden and disadvantaged women irrespective of caste, creed, color, religion or language in all aspects such as social, Cultural, health educational, economical and make them as a good citizen of India by alleviating poverty eradicating illiteracy and eliminating diseases, and inability under the duly preventive measure.
Where there is need, there is service in community and society level for its proper development. Thus many Organizations situated in all over India, especially in Kanyakumari District Tamil Nadu State. As though the very thing, BLESSINGS LIFE FOUNDATION TRUST with status that Non – Profit and voluntary organization is serving the weaker Sectional society on its dedicated nature with spirit of full commitment and involvement and with keen interest and zeal irrespective of caste, color, creed, religion or language for the past 19years.
Whereas, it is focusing to foil the needs of people through the fulfillment. To such an extent, it is toiling strenuously with deep concentration for the welfare of people by realizing that they have to be promoted in all aspects. Such as, social, cultural, health,
educational and economical and should lead their life with flying colors. (ie) peace fully.
To serve the people exemplarily and cope challenges, BLESSINGS LIFE FOUNDATION TRUST actually came into force only on 2006, though it had the proper legal status under the Tamil Nadu trust Act, in the month of 19th January 2006. To decide upon whatever programs and activities proposed to be implemented on behalf of the organization, there has been an executive committee which has the sovereignty power.
No individual can take decision therein. Subsequently, collective forces only have made many achievements so far in connection with motivating and enlightening the common people to survive for their livelihood and fulfilling the basic needs or amenities of downtrodden.
As far as programs and activities and implementation is concerned, the Managing Trustee has empowered to carryout them on his own interest and decision as resolved by the Board of Trustees. Therewith, people are being practiced and habituated with good heritage to pursue a proverb that there is cut your coat according to your cloth which means that spend within your means in all respects. Every program proposed on the resolution passed by the Board of Trustees is being conducted as per the schedule through collection of donations made from the public.
Milestone:
Blessings Life Foundation Trust was started in 2004 with the inspirational vision of Mr. Jacob and provided food to the flood-affected people of Kannanur Thirumullaivail located in Ampathur area of Chennai and protected the people in that area.
For the charity of the people BLFT was established with this single thought in the year 2006 and registered with the government and started doing complete social work. The first inauguration ceremony poor school students were given school uniforms and all useful materials for their studies, meeting was presided over by Mr. Sivasankaran IAS then Secretary to Government of Tamil Nadu. The primary mission was to start a medical camp in the SURAPET area of Chennai. where the doctors, nurses and social workers of the day attended nearly 150 patients in various ways. Later, evening tuition centers were started in Perumabedu Periya village in Kanchipuram district and we expanded and implemented this event in more than ten surrounding areas. Therefore, it is noteworthy that medical courses have been started through the community college with the aim of improving lifestyle of youth. From Chennai to Kanyakumari, almost 5000 students were examined by child health centers in every district in a year. Dr. Rajaram and Dr. Joni Particia doctors from this institution dedicatedly worked together in the medical journey. It is significant that through this establishment we are doing Gods work as a peoples work by diagnosing and treating diseases such as rheumatic diseases and ear related diseases.
Especially in Chennai Kanchipuram Thiruvallur Villupuram Thoothukudi Tirunelveli Kanyakumari districts in various villages, medical and education environment, human development resources, Road Safety , Indian medicine, Agriculture and Animalhusbandary and organic farming awareness by adding and caring for cows abandoned by the people, it is noteworthy that the Blessings Life Foundation Trust has been successfully doing various social work till date.
We would like to mention that our institution will do the Lord’s work for the people with dedication at all times.
Floods Relief Service in Chennai 2015
We collected various funds through many volunteers, who joined hands with us in the mind of rescuing people who suffered December floods, mainly in MGR Nagar, Koyambedu and Nungampakkam slums. We overall covered these areas by giving food,
dresses and Medicines. Also we helped these peoples in time for their primary needs.
Ochki Welfare Programme
We had given rescue services for around 2000 people in the affected area. The village people lost their houses during the ochki cyclone. IGSS Team had contacted to our Organization and supplied Tarpaulins for the affected people.
Corona Virus ( COVID 19)
Due to spread of corona virus ( COVID 19) in India, Central and state Governments have been taking remedial services to prevent on account of spread of Corona Virus ( COVID 19) and protect people from them. In this connection our Organization has also carried out the following programmes at Kanyakumari Dist, Thirunelveli Dist, and Villuppuram Dist.
Aim / Goal:
The ultimate goal of our Organization is to Enlighten the life of lives. It aims to help neglected and deprived rural and urban people including the tribal’s who live in remote villages of India. The inhabitants of these villages are underprivileged and illiterates.
Vision:
The vision of this Organization is to Transform these people to bring them on par with others. The vision is implemented gradually through various programme.

To identify socially deprived people work along with the economy and enable them to be self- reliant and enjoy a healthy, dignified and “Sustainable Quality of Life”.
